Steven Bradbury became the hero of everyone.
During his representation of Australia as a speed skater, Steven won Australia’s First Winter Olympic Gold Medal in 2002.
His commitment and sacrifice where fundamental for his victory.
In 1994, he suffered a skating crash losing four litres of blood and got 111 stitches and other more serious accidents that Steven had experienced such as broken neck during a training in 2000 which made Steven pursuing his dreams and never gave up.
Fortunately, after qualifying for the Olympic final of the 1000metres race in 2002 (Salt Lake City), a moment in history that always be remembered. He showed a pure sacrifice and constant pursuit to win in the last lap while the other four contenders tumbled out, making Steven the winner of a gold medal for the Winter Olympics.
Since retiring, Steven has become a well-known celebrity, public speaker & motivator to those who are willing to give it a ‘go’.
His new venture involves speed of a different kind, motor racing. With a competitive nature like Steven’s, he is sure to make a real go of motor racing.
